Stewards Comments

SCRAPINDIPITY Raced wide from the 800m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider explained that his mount had travelled comfortably in running but was under immediate pressure from the 600m and yielded ground from thereon. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be slow to recover. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery in the ensuing days and advise Stewards accordingly of his future intentions.
