Stewards Comments

OUR LARRIKIN Slow into stride. Raced keenly in the early stages. Held up for clear running from on straightening until taken outwards across heels passing the 150m. ANCIENT SPELL Raced keenly in the early stages getting its head in the air approaching the 1000m. BLACK BLAST Commenced awkwardly. CHANIFY Held up for clear running from on straightening until taken inwards passing the 250m. CASSIDY COWBOY Broke through the barriers prior to the start and was quickly recaptured and after undergoing a Veterinary examination was passed fit to start. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages when leading. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider explained that the gelding had been agitated in the mounting enclosure and behind the barriers and on return to scale. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be slow to recover. Trainer advised that the gelding would not start in a race for a period of four weeks. MONEY FOR CASH Lay outwards in the early stages. NEW TIME Raced wide throughout. COBBLE LANE Raced wide throughout. AKHESON Lay outwards approaching the 200m. DON SEBASTIAN Impeded for clear running for a short distance near the 250m.
