TIME FOR BLACK Raced wide from the 600m. BIG SMOKE Raced wide throughout. GENERAL RULES Raced keenly in the middle stages. WESTERN TRADER Tightened and steadied losing ground near the 200m. EL SERENATA When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the mare had a tendency to over-race in the early stages and lay inwards from the 600m. Trainer undertook to monitor the mare's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. Trainer later advised that the mare would now be sent for a spell. SHOVELY Mis-strode on a number of occasions shortly after the start. Raced keenly near the 700m and was steadied from heels getting its head in the air. CAESARS SYMBOL Lay inwards near the 200m. COURTING DANGER Hung outwards throughout. Rider dropped his whip near the 225m. Steadied from heels near the 200m.
