Stewards Comments

CORPORATE EMPIRE Returned with a superficial abrasion to its near hind fetlock and having cast its near hind plate during running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. GWALIA BOY broke through the barriers riderless and after being recaptured was withdrawn by the Stewards acting on Veterinary advice. THE PARK Commenced slowly.
