Stewards Comments

ANGRY SQUATTER Raced greenly and lay outwards from the 600m. Trainer's representative advised that he would now add blinkers to the gelding in an attempt to rectify its racing manner. BRANDY BLITZ Slow to begin. Raced greenly in the early stages and lost ground. Rider advised that the colt may have resented the bubble cheeker. Trainer was advised that the colt would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. CHANTERIA Over-raced in the early stages and was tightened and carried inwards approaching the 700m. Held up near the 400m and approaching the 300m was angled inwards and was then bumped heavily after being carried inwards. Held up for clear running over the final 50m. MADAME DE AMELIA Raced greenly in the early stages with a tendency to over-race. Bumped and carried inwards near the 300m. Impeded passing the 100m and was then taken inwards to obtain clear running. RUMOURTRAGE Raced wide on straightening. I'M GETTING THERE Raced wide throughout. Shifted inwards quickly when struck with the whip near the 300m. Due to the filly's racing manner, Trainer was advised that it would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. EURO BLITZ Tightened and carried inwards approaching the 700m and lost ground. Steadied near the 300m.
