Stewards Comments

ROMIDA On arrival on course Trainer advised that the mare had sustained a minor injury during transportation to the course and was found to have a small amount of blood in its near nostril and after undergoing a Veterinary examination was passed fit to start. Upon arrival at the barriers the mare was re-examined and found to be unfit to race and was subsequently withdrawn by the Stewards at acting on Veterinary advice. TOSSA DANTE Raced wide throughout. Lay outwards in the middle stages and raced greenly in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Due to the disappointing performance, Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. REGAL TIMES Over-raced in the early stages. SECRET RULER Lay inwards in the straight. THE FACTOR Raced wide throughout. BLUE SASSO Turned its head as the start was effected and lost ground. Held up for clear running on straightening and again near the 200m and was impeded over the final stages. ELITE CLASS Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
