Stewards Comments

LORD HATRAS Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and as a result shifted out and bumped another runner passing the 1000m. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to his left hand passing the 200m. EXCLUSIVE HONOUR Bumped outwards passing the 1000m. PEGATRICK Steadied outwards passing the 600m and raced wide from thereon. DAYS LIKE THESE Raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination of the unplaced gelding revealed it to have returned with an elevated heart rate. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. THE PARK DANCER Dipped at the start and then bumped. STARTING OVER Commenced awkwardly and bumped. MISS MEYET Held up from on straightening until approaching the 200m.
