Stewards Comments

FUN SPICE Raced wide from the 800m. THYME FOR BUSINESS Was a late withdrawal by the Stewards at 3:20pm when the gelding refused to proceed to the gates. Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. TIMES ARE CHANGING Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. UNDERCOVER LIZZY Unable to secure clear running over the final 150m. COOLISM Raced wide throughout. Crowded on straightening and then angled outwards to obtain clear running. REMILIO Rider retired the gelding from the race in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to have strained its near fore tendon. Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be retired.
