Stewards Comments

IMABAY Retired from the race passing the 300m. Returned having bled from both nostrils during running. As the gelding had bled previously on 23 October 2011 Trainer was advised that under ARR.53A that all present and future nominations for the gelding would now be refused. BRYNBELLA Refused to do a preliminary and was led riderless to the barriers. Trainer was advised to take steps to rectify the mare's preliminary manners or further action will be taken. DARVALL Compounded from the 1200m. When questioned rider advised that the filly resented the kick back during running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer undertook to monitor the filly's recovery over the ensuing days 's and advise Stewards of any abnormalities.
