Stewards Comments

HAY STREET HERO Commenced awkwardly. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. HAAGEN Raced wide from the 700m. LOVE YOU LIKE THAT Held up for clear running from on straightening until the 200m. NOW RED Raced wide throughout. PARATONNERRE Bounded at the start and raced keenly in the early stages. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, Trainer advised that in his opinion as the filly had raced keenly in running and as it was racing over 1400m for the first time that the filly had consequently been unable to finish the race off and tired over the final 100m. He advised that it was his intention to freshen the filly and have it race over a decreased distance at its next start. KEY POSITION Shifted inwards abruptly after improving close to the heels of another runner near the 50m.
