Stewards Comments

NICKED Raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. Trainer later advised that the gelding had recovered well and it was now her intention to engage the services of a senior rider for its next start. ABOUT TURN Slow to begin. CODE NUMBER Bumped at the start. Raced wide for the majority of the event and lay outwards placing its rider at some disadvantage. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. Trainer later advised that the gelding had recovered well and it was now her intention to experiment with gear changes in an attempt to have it race more tractably.
