Stewards Comments

ZUYTDORP Lay inwards in the straight. TAWAKONI Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip into his left hand at the 150m in an attempt to keep the gelding on a straight course. Rider was cautioned and advised to make a greater effort in keeping his mounts on a straight course in the straight to avoid interference to other runners. BOHEMIAN PARADISE Raced wide throughout. CHINA CAUSEWAY Crowded and raced in restricted room over the final 100m. WHALAH Raced keenly through the in the early and middle stages and was impeded and steadied when racing in restricted room leaving the 400m. BELTHOWRA A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have strained its near fore flexor tendon. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. DANCING ROCKER Raced wide for the majority. Crowded and steadied from heels near the 150m. LISTED Raced keenly in the early and middle stages placing the rider at some disadvantage. UNBENDABLE Crowded and raced in restricted room shortly before the finish.
