Stewards Comments

DUE PARA Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to his left hand at the 200m. INCENTIVE SCHEME Had difficulty in securing clear running from on straightening until angled outwards at the 200m. MEDIA CAPTAIN Rider advised that the colt felt uncomfortable in its action. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the colt to be lame in the off fore. Trainer was advised that the colt would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. UNWAVERING Raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be leaving his stable. Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. BISCAY BONNY Raced wide throughout. CHUNKY'S GIFT was a late withdrawal by Stewards at 1:45pm acting on Veterinary advice when the filly was found to be lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the filly would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Trainer advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell. KIKI'S CHOICE Commenced to yield ground from the 600m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to be showing signs of tying up.
