Stewards Comments

GREAT'N'GREY Raced wide throughout. OUR LARRIKIN Rider reported that the gelding did not respond to his riding in the straight and was disappointing. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be lame in the near fore and also having lost part of the hoof wall due to casting its off fore plate during running. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. Trainer advised she would discuss the gelding's immediate racing programme with connections and advise Stewards of this decision. KNIGHT FURY Raced fiercely and had a tendency to lay outwards during running. BIG ATTITUDE Raced keenly through the middle stages.
