Stewards Comments

INCENTIVE SCHEME became fractious in the barriers and reared getting its off fore leg over the barrier gate and commenced to kick out behind. The gelding was removed from the barriers and following a Veterinary examination was found to have abrasions to the off fore tendon and the off hind leg and was subsequently withdrawn by the Stewards acting on Veterinary advice. All bets made on the gelding were refunded. Deductions from winning bets were made in accordance with RWWA Rule of Wagering 56. Trainer's representative advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. Trainer's representative was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. CONFIANZA Buffeted on jumping. SHOT OF GLORY Steadied passing the 1400m and then raced wide for the remainder of the event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance, rider advised when attempting to improve his position from the 800m he had ridden the gelding along however despite his urgings the gelding had failed to finish the race off as anticipated. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. EXIHT Bumped at the start. Blocked for clear running from the 400m and when attempting to obtain a marginal run near the 350m was bumped inwards and was again held up for clear running until passing the 150m. IZADEMON Raced keenly in the early and middle stages SHEIKRATTLE'N'ROLL Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. HONGKONG STAR Lay outwards over the final 200m. HEAVEN TONIGHT Bumped at the start. Lay inwards in the straight. JUSTEMATIC Raced wide throughout. HABBERLEY VALLEY Held up for clear running passing the 400m and raced tightly with another runner until the 300m and failed to obtain clear running until the 200m. SCOTLAND THE BRAVE Slow into stride. Held up for clear running from on straightening until approaching the 150m.
