Stewards Comments

MCSCAR Bumped at the start. CHANIFY Held up for clear running from on straightening until taken outwards near the 200m. HELLO HERO Commenced awkwardly and bumped. RUSSELL ROAD Raced keenly through the middle stages and was restrained near the 1100m. LOVE YOU LIKE THAT Bumped at the start. STAY LADY STAY Lay inwards approaching the 900m turn and as a result had to steady from heels. Raced in restricted room passing the 700m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider explained that the mare did not accelerate when ridden along on straightening and was disappointing. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that he would have the mare undergo an endoscopic examination and advise Stewards accordingly. SHEZAPRO Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. SCAMANDRIUS Fractious behind the barriers until the blindfold was fitted for loading. Raced wide for the majority of the event. TRIUMPHANT HERO Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Held up for clear running in the early stages of the straight until angled outwards near the 250m.
