Stewards Comments

GOLD PROSPECT and STAMP DUTY were slow into stride. Near the 800m a dog strayed onto the track, Jockey A. Taylor attempted to avoid the dog, struck it and blundered. This caused the dog to be catapulted back and strike STAMP DUTY which blundered, dislodging Jockey G. Killick. As a result of this incident BARTOLINI and GOLD PROSPECT which were following were severely inconvenienced. JUST JOKING lay inwards over the final 150m placing its rider at a disadvantage.
