Stewards Comments

KAREIVER was slow to begin. PLAIN TRUTH shifted outwards at the start brushing JEVKITE causing that gelding to shift outwards and bump heavily with PICASMILE. RED ADRAAN raced wide in the middle and early stages. Near the 800m HARRY'S KINGDOM shifted inwards slightly, crowding PICASMILE in onto JEVKITE. In this incident PICASMILE lost a little ground. SASSY BON was unable to obtain a clear run until passing the 150m. At the 400m KIM SUCCESS shifted inwards bumping with HARRY'S KINGDOM. Passing the 200m PLAIN TRUTH was accidently struck over the nose with the whip of jockey R Mills (ANOTHER LADY). KIM SUCCESS lay inwards in the straight. JEVKITE bled from both nostrils during running.
