16 April 2007 Stewards' Media Release - Thoroughbreds and Harness 16 April 2007

RWWA has been notified by the Perth Racing Chemistry Laboratory (RCL) and other national Official Racing Laboratories that as of 1st June 2007, the laboratory would be applying a new measure of uncertainty to the reported Total Carbon Dioxide levels (TCO2) from race day equine blood samples.

Full details regarding the change and the implications of it are available in the attached Special Notice to Trainers (PDF 33KB) which will be distributed amongst the racing industry. RWWA is using various means at its disposal, including the industry publications "Racing Ahead", to ensure this important information reaches all interested and potentially effected persons within the industry.
