Greyhounds WA Northam will this afternoon host a 12 event programme commencing with the Shamrock Stake (297m) at 1:31pm and concluding with the Mortlock Stake (297m) at 5pm.
Trainer Ben MacLean has five entrants for the meeting and outlined their prospective chances on Racing Radio's Big Breakfast.
Race 3 Shamrock Stake (297m) Ikari Fury
"Needs to jump well but will go close in a race that doesn't appear overly strong."
Race 6 Dale Stake (509m) Chaser Lesson
"Ran well at his first attempt over 500m last week and will at least place again."
Race 7 Ranvet Free To All (297m) Topline Beaver.
"You would think he would win and he hasn't been beaten from the red rug."
Race 8 Intercast Avon Stake (509m) Gale Monelli.
"I'm stepping her up to 500m for the first time but she did run 22.80secs when coming over the top to win at 400m and should at least place."
Race 10 Northam Feed & Hire Moondyne Stake (588m) Samcro.
"He hasn't shown what he could be doing and might struggle."
