Terry Erenshaw has three chasers engaged at Mandurah tonight and is expecting a strong display from last-start winners Buddy Be Cool and City Rumble.
Buddy Be Cool, who won a heat of the Puppy Classic at Cannington last month, brought up his third win from seven starts at Mandurah last week.
He led from box-to-post in impressive fashion and won by a dominant eight lengths from Heather's Sandy in a time of 22.59secs.
It was Buddy Be Cool's first appearance on the Mandurah track and if he produces anything like his maiden appearance he will be hard to hold out in the Claire Bird Peel Stake (405m).
"We tried him over 530 metres previously but the dog couldn't handle it," said Erenshaw.
"This distance seems to be his caper and if he goes on with it he should be a fair dog.
"I think he is going to be awfully hard to beat."
City Rumble will be out to make it back-to-back wins after scoring impressively at his first run at Mandurah last week.
City Rumble defeated Gingin Local over 405m in 22.98secs and will meet a similar line up in the Sweet Torque Kanyana Stake (490m).
"He is a very smart animal and we know what he can produce," said Erenshaw.
"He's Mandurah win was very impressive after almost falling on the home corner.
"This race tonight looks like it will suit him right down to the ground."
Eranshaw's night will commence with Bond Collector who may find the 405m of the Extreme Cyclone Peel Stake a touch short for his liking.
"It may be too short and they look a bit zippy" said Erenshaw.
