Sunday's Shire Of Kellerberrin Cup (2530m) at the Central Wheatbelt Harness Racing Club has assembled a top field including Nimrod for the powerful Greg and Sky Bond training combination.

Nimrod, drawn in barrier five for driver Colin Brown, has solid claims after producing a strong winning effort at Pinjarra last week.

The four-year-old gelding was outside Unsinkable Boxer at the bell and skipped away on cornering before sprinting clear to win untouched over Motoringwiththebest.

Stable mate Talk It up is searching for his first win since last November but is capable of having an impact from barrier seven.

Dearborn for Peter Tilbrook has drawn pole position and has won two out of his past three starts including at Bunbury when he led powerfully from the front.

Itsallaboutnicole will step out for his first appearance since earlier in January when he ran fourth of nine to Ohokas Bondy in the Western Australian Nights Of Thunder Final (1700m) at Gloucester Park.

The Courage Under Fire gelding, who has won 10 races and been placed on 16 occasions from 41 starts, has yet to produce in recent trials.

Unsinkable Boxer, with one win and a placing from three starts since arriving from Victoria, is also worthy of thought.
