A winning treble at today's Pinjarra meeting sees Banjup trainer-driver Colin Brown go into tonight's Gloucester Park meeting with a tally of 2372 winners as a driver.
The Western Australian born Brown is now equal with the career tally of The Western Hall Of Fame Inductee Fred R Kersley who retired with a tally of 2372 winners.
Brown has nine drives tonight and the best of them appear to be Big Picture in Race 3 and Bettor Still in race five although after his win at Northam on Tuesday night behind the $54.00 chance Where And When anything is possible.
The third leg of Brown's treble this afternoon, Kamwood Laughter brought up his 150th winner for the season and has given him eight winners in the past week.
Brown's best season was in 2003/04 when he brought home 165 winners and with seven weeks of the season to go he is well placed to set a new personal best.
