07 February 2008 Rising Stars Series Well Under Way

The 2008 Nagmart Saddlery Rising Stars Series is now in full swing after the opening two meetings in Northam and Harvey.

Morgan Woodley has established a substantial lead after driving outsider Hills of Dakota home in thhe Dan Magill Fillies and Mares Stakes at Northam on January 29 and then claimed victory with Auto Pilot in the Heart Foundation Stakes at Harvey on February 5.

Woodley's good form has seen him shoot to 18 points, 10 clear of Jamie Rigoli who sits in equal second place after guiding Outa the Kitchen home in the Hitchcock Railway Pace in Northam. Justin Prentice, who won aboard Lord Guy in the Nagmart Junior Driver Series Stakes in Harvey on Tuesday night, also finds himself on 8 points.

Pinjarra will host the next meeting, on Monday February 11.
