25 February 2009 Programme Amendments due to Bunbury Abandonment

To minimise inconvenience to industry stakeholders following the abandonment of today's Bunbury Turf Club meeting, the following race programme amendments will be implemented.

Ascot – Saturday 28 February 2009

Perth Racing has added a $15,000 Rating 0-73 Handicap 1200m to the race programme. All horses engaged at Bunbury to run in the Rare Coin Company Self Managed Super Fund Handicap (Rtg 0-73 F&M 1200m) and Nexus Series Heat (Rtg 0-73 E&G 1200m) have been transferred to this new race.

Handicap weights and barriers for this new race have been released.

Pinjarra Park – Sunday 1 March 2009

The Rare Coin Company Banknote Specialist Maiden (1200m) has been transferred to this race programme. The field remains unchanged and the Pinjarra Race Club has increased the stake to $10,000.

Ascot – Wednesday 4 March 2009

The distance of the Westspeed Two-Years-Old Plate has been reduced to 1000m (previously 1200m). This distance change will allow horses that were engaged to run in the Two-Years- Old Maiden at Bunbury to race on Wednesday over the same distance. A 1200m Two-Years- Old Plate is also scheduled for Ascot on Saturday 7 March 2009.

Races will be divided on this race programme, as required.
