A Brief History of the Club

The Moora Race Club was established in 1907, the Bystino Grandstand which is still in use was built in 1925 for 840 pounds, seating approximately 200 race goers. In the early years, the club had two meetings on a long weekend. Up to 60 horses would travel by rail from Midland and Perth. Many improvements have been done over the last few years is running rail, mounting yard and grassed areas. In early 2009 a new jockey's facility was built.
