
RWWA Stewards today concluded the inquiry into a report from the ChemCentre in Perth, that aminocaproic acid had been detected in the post race urine sample taken from MOONEMIA after it had won Race 3 the playeronline.com.au Handicap (1650m) at Belmont on Wednesday, 2 September 2009.
On Friday, 13 November 2009 Trainer Mr R.N. Harvey (Jnr) pleaded guilty to a charge under ARR.175(h)(ii) for administering the product Amicar to MOONEMIA with aminocaproic acid being detected in the post race urine sample taken from MOONEMIA.
In consideration of penalty the Stewards took into account:
Trainer Mr R.N. Harvey (Jnr) was disqualified for a period of nine (9) months effective immediately.
RWWA Stewards today inquired into a report from the ChemCentre in Perth, that aminocaproic acid was detected in the post race urine sample taken from SARACEN KING after it had won Race 7 the Racing Radio Handicap (1600m) at Belmont on Wednesday, 9 September 2009.
Trainer Ms Kellie Grantham pleaded guilty to a charge under ARR.175(h)(ii) for administering Amicar to SARACEN KING with aminocaproic acid being detected in the post race sample taken from SARACEN KING.
In consideration of penalty the Stewards were mindful of:
Trainer Ms K. Grantham was disqualified for a period of three (3) months effective immediately.
Further, acting under the provisions of ARR.177, SARACEN KING was disqualified as winner of Race 7 the Racing Radio Handicap (1600m) on Wednesday, 9 September 2009 and the placings were amended to:

3rd JOAQUIM (NZ) (B. Kennedy)
4th ETERNAL POWER (S. O’Donnell)
