RWWA Stewards today continued the inquiry into a report from the ChemCentre in Perth, that aminocaproic acid has been detected in the post race urine sample taken from NEIGE after it had won Race 3 the Westspeed Stayers’ Bonus Handicap (2) at Belmont on Saturday 5 September 2009.

Further evidence was taken from Mr Sean Casey, Trainer of NEIGE, Drs Kim Rose and Julia Vines Veterinary Surgeons, Racing ChemCentre Manager Mr Charles Russo, RWWA Veterinarian Dr Judith Medd and RWWA Investigator Mr Geoff Johnson.

The inquiry was adjourned to a time and date to be fixed to allow Stewards to consider the evidence.
