RWWA Stewards today inquired into a report from RWWA Investigator Mr Geoff Johnson in relation to disqualified Trainer/Driver Mr Shane Loone working a pacer at Jandakot Trotting Training Centre on Sunday 23 May 2010.
Evidence was taken from Mr Loone and RWWA Investigator Mr Geoff Johnson.
Mr Loone is currently serving a 3 month disqualification under HRR 187(2) for providing false evidence at a Stewards inquiry.
Acting under the provisions of Local Rule 259 – Removal of Disqualified or Warned Off Person from Race Course or any Place, Mr Loone was found to have breached Harness Rule 259(1) and consequently his original 3 months disqualification was deemed to recommence as from 23 May 2010. After consideration, Stewards imposed a further 3 month disqualification cumulative with the current penalty.
Effectively, Mr Loone is now disqualified for a period of 6 months to expire 23 November 2010.
