A Brief History of The Club

In 1946 a group of interested parties made donations towards starting a club. They raised 1500 pounds and started preparations. The first race meeting was run in 1948 after loads of voluntary work by all and the club is still going strong run mainly by volunteers. We as a club buck normal trends. As we race during the holidays we achieve good crowds averaging 200 - 2500 attendees per night.

None of the original financiers are still around, however CJ (Tom) Marsden is still living and training in the district. Tom is the son of John Marsden one of the originals.
Our Feature event is the $10,000 Busselton Pacing Cup.
