Applying for a Job

We realise that when applying for a new job you will have many questions. Generally our adverts will have a contact person, phone number and email address providing you with an avenue to direct your questions.

When submitting an application for a job at RWWA we require applications in Microsoft Word or PDF format. Applications should contain the following:

Covering Letter

The covering letter should outline what position you are applying for, where you saw the advertisement and a brief outline of the reasons you are interested in the position. You should also touch on the skills and abilities you possess that would fit well with this role.

Resume

Your resume should contain the following:

  • Contact details: Title, full name, address, phone numbers and email address
  • Summary of work history - it is preferred you start with your most recent job and work backwards. For each job please include your position, the organisation’s name and the period that you worked there
  • Education and relevant qualifications
  • Nomination of two work referees - Please list the referee’s name, contact details, title and working relationship eg. your direct supervisor
  • Any supporting documents including copies of qualifications, if relevant

Please do not bind or place resumes in folders
