#WeCarePerth Bushfire Relief Concert
The Events Industry Association of WA and the state’s music community are banding together to raise funds for South West residents affected by bushfires in early January.
Over the course of one week bushfires devastated 71,000 hectares in South Western Australia taking with it more than 180 homes. The town of Yarloop was completely destroyed.
Organisers have announced a concert supported by the City of Perth, called the We Care South West Bushfire Relief concert, will be held on Sunday, 7 February 2016 at Gloucester Park.
To help raise funds for those affected some of Australia’s leading entertainers have volunteered to play at the concert. These include Mental As Anything, Angry Anderson, Dave Gleeson from the Screaming Jets and Dave Warner’s From The Suburbs. More acts will be announced.
