The Mandurah Tuesday 20 May greyhound meeting has been transferred to Sunday 18 May (in the evening timeslot between 5.32 and 8.55pm) to receive full SKY Channel coverage in conjunction with the Singapore Cup / International Sprint thoroughbred meeting. The Singapore meeting should have very strong punter interest with Australian horses Magnus, Takeover Target and Universal Ruler headed there.
The Sunday evening will also have a strong greyhound flavour with the Victorian meeting at Sale extended until 7.00pm and a Port Pirie meeting added to the SKY schedule to run in conjunction with Mandurah. The good amount of greyhound product, combined with the interest in the Singapore meeting should ensure that this one-off Sunday trial is a successful one.
The TAB call centre will be open until 9.00pm to provide a service to account holders wagering on the late meetings and an SMS campaign will also be conducted to inform punters about these additional wagering opportunities.
