AGRA has released the National Conditions of Nomination Forms to all clubs. The forms are available via the links below. Hardcopies are also available at Greyhounds WA.

Greyhounds are eligible to represent WA should they be domiciled here for not less than 76 days out of the 150 days immediately prior to the National Acceptance Closing Date on Monday 23 July 2012. A greyhound first named and registered in WA may return here to qualify for the Nationals, ONLY if not eligible to compete for any other State under the domicility clause.

Trainers who send a greyhound interstate for any period of time leading up to the running of the Tattsbet.com WA Sprint and Distance Championship Heats on Saturday 4 August 2012 should ensure they lodge the appropriate Notice of Training / Removal from Kennel Form immediately, as these will be used to confirm greyhound eligibility. A greyhound competing interstate will be considered as domiciled here during that period, should it remain in the care of its WA trainer.

The National Conditions of Nomination Form must be lodged with RWWA by 12noon on Monday 23 July 2012 for all greyhounds you wish to nominate for the Nationals. Trainers may lodge both a Sprint and Distance Form if they so desire. Please nominate early so that greyhound eligibility can be confirmed.

The Nationals Conditions of Nomination Form only satisfies national criteria for the events and does not nominate a greyhound for the qualifying events – the Tattsbet.com WA Sprint and Distance Championships. Separate Feature Event Nomination Forms will be produced for those events, with nominations closing at 8.30am on Tuesday 31 July 2012. These will be available below in the Feature Event Nominations section 2 weeks prior to the closing date. Greyhounds will not be drawn into either of these series if not nominated initially via the Nationals Conditions of Nomination Form by the closing date on 23 July 2012.

Post - 23 July, trainers are requested to contact the Greyhounds Trainers' Service Centre on 9445 5287 to withdraw the national nomination for any greyhound should it not be competing for the Nationals via the Tattsbet.com WA Sprint or Distance Championships. Likewise trainers may withdraw a nomination for one of the events if a greyhound was initially nominated for both distances.

Greyhound nominations are currently accepted by fax on (08) 9445 9316 or by a recorded 24-hour service on (08) 9445 5288. Nominations close at 8.30am unless otherwise advised.

A link to a sample Telephone Nomination Form is available below for your reference. Details should be provided left to right from the top of the nomination form downwards when using either telephone service. All details must be supplied.

The use of the Nomination Check List as a fax header when nominating by fax is highly recommended, especially when sending multiple nominations. Faxed nominations should always be confirmed with RWWA Racing Services via the Greyhound Trainers' Service Centre on (08) 9445 5287 by mid-morning at the latest.

Standard Nomination Forms should not be used to nominate for Feature Events. Feature Event Nomination Forms are produced stating the full conditions of entry for each of those events. Greyhounds will not be drawn into those events unless nominated on the specific Feature Event Nomination Form (when nominated by fax). Telephone nominations will be accepted for Feature Events, however it is the responsibility of the trainer to be aware of those events, their conditions of entry and to specifically nominate for that event.

Feature Event Nomination Forms will normally be available two weeks prior to the closing of nominations for those events.
