24 April 2008 Former Test Cricketer and Racing Head in the Final of the Australian Gold

Former Australian test cricketer Mark Waugh and Racing New South Wales Executive Officer Peter V’Landys enjoyed success as breeders and owners at Harold Park last Friday night with the win of the well-named Presidential Ball colt George Dubya in a heat of the Australian Pacing Gold.

Waugh and Vlandys are part-owners in the colt’s dam Expedience and George Dubya is the first foal from the sub 2:00 Falcon Seelster mare.

The $300,000 Final of the Australian Gold will be run at Harold Park on May 2nd.
