09 May 2008 Paralyser is Special Says Hall

“All the signs are there to suggest that he’s a pretty special horse,” Gary Hall jun. said after he had driven former Victorian six-year-old Paralyser to an easy victory over Badboy Nitro and Spin The Wheel in the 2130m Sony PS3 Entertainment Console Stakes at Gloucester Park on Friday night.

“He’s got good gate speed, high cruising speed and is pretty tough, so he’s the complete package. He was a good horse in Melbourne before his form tapered off a bit and he was sent to WA for a change.”

The stallion is now trained by Murray Hansen who has given him two starts in WA for two impressive victories.

Paralyser dashed to the front 250m after the start and set a solid pace to win at a 1.57.3 rate from Badboy Nitro, who raced wide early and then without cover.

Paralyser graduated to an M2 mark and should quickly graduate to open-class company for owners Russell Doyle, Wayne McCartney, Peter Tonkin, Rodger Graham and Gino and Nancy Groegan.
