30 June 2008 Three Feature Wins in Three Countries In 24 Hours

Leading French driver Jean Michel Bazire won three features in three countries over a period of 24 hours last weekend.

His first win came on Saturday afternoon with the Italian trotter Felix De Nord in the $150,000 Prix de Washington at the Enghien track in Paris in a time of 1:54.4.

That night Bazire was at Rome’s Tor di Valle racetrack where he won the $400,000 Gran Premio Tino Triossi with Igor Font which trotted at a 1:59.2 rate to score.

On Sunday afternoon Bazire was at the reins of L’amiral Mauzun when that horse set a new track record of 1:53.4 in winning the $250,000 Forus Open at Stavanger on the west coast of Norway.
