Thoroughbred – Stewards Inquiry – Trainer Mr Steele Casey – AVIDUS & SEASIDE SERENADE
RWWA Stewards have been advised by the ChemCentre in Perth, that arsenic in excess of the threshold of 0.3 mg/L in urine has been detected in AVIDUS after it won Race 7 at Bunbury on 21 March 2018 and SEASIDE SERENADE after it won Race 6 at Bunbury on 25 March 2018.
These findings have now been verified by the Racing Analytical Services Limited Laboratory (RASL) in Victoria.
RWWA Investigators and Industry Veterinarian are conducting further investigations in relation to this matter and Stewards will conduct an inquiry into these reports once those investigations are completed.
