Harness – Stewards Inquiry – Trainers C. Hall (SOHO LEVIATHAN) & T. Ferguson (BETTOR COPAGOODONE) – ARSENIC DETECTIONS
RWWA Stewards have been advised by the ChemCentre in Perth, that arsenic in excess of the threshold of 0.3 ug/mL in urine has been detected in;
• the post-race urine sample taken from BETTOR COPAGOODONE (T. Ferguson) after it competed in and won Race 1 at Pinjarra on 2 April 2018
• the post-race urine sample taken from SOHO LEVIATHAN (C. Hall) after it competed in and won Race 9 at Gloucester Park on 6 April 2018.
These findings have now been verified by the Racing Analytical Services Limited Laboratory (RASL) in Victoria.
Stewards will conduct an inquiry into these reports on a date to be confirmed once all investigations in relation to this matter are completed.
