Fred Kersley can boost his lead in the Touchstone Farm Rising Star series with a strong book of rides at Ascot’s season-opening meeting on Saturday.
The talented apprentice will be out to maintain his good form when he partners Dolcity (1), Pinzu (2), Necklet (3), Touch Of Silver (6) and Slick Talker (8).
Two-year-old Dolcity, trained by Tiarnna Robertson, steps out for her first appearance with confidence after winning a 850m Belmont trial.
Kersley will relish his first opportunity on Adam Durrant’s Pinzu who will have strong admirers to make it three wins from his past four starts.
Durrant and Kersley team up again when exciting gelding Touch Of Silver, a winner of four consecutive races when last in work, resumes first-up.
