06 May 2008 RWWA Rising Stars Invitation Stakes Attracts Crack Field

The attraction of a $25,000 stake for M0 class horses has attracted a crackerjack field for the RWWA Rising Stars Invitation Stakes at Gloucester Park on Friday night.

Six of the 12 runners are last start winners and a further three were winners two starts ago.

Star WA junior driver Morgan Woodley has drawn the Gary Hall trained Steuben – a winner of 12 of his 25 career starts including a brilliant first-up win in this State at Gloucester Park on Anzac Day.

In form New South Wales reinswoman Stacey Towers, who has enhanced her reputation at getting outsiders across the line with two wins in her last three drives at lucrative odds of $20 and $16.
