24 September 2008 TAB to Have a Presence at This Year’s Perth Royal Show

Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) will have a presence at the 2008 Perth Royal Show for the first time in many years.

A promo TAB will be available for the entire duration of the Royal Show (27 September – 4 October) at the Side Show Bar Edgar Avenue (near Sideshow Alley). Hours of operation will be daily 10am to 8pm where the TAB will provide two betting terminals, three Info Tabs and eight TV’s including two huge flat screens to watch all the racing and sports action any punter could want.

Access to the TAB is restricted to persons over the age of 18 years.

RWWA General Manager Wagering Mr Alister Shennan said, "With having the AFL grand final on this Saturday, it will provide an opportunity for Royal Show patrons and exhibitors to have a bet and watch the game live".

"We will be providing the same betting service and opportunities on all racing as if you were to visit any TAB or Pubtab" he further said.
