A Brief History of The Club

Meekatharra Races is known to be the place to be on the Queens Birthday long weekend each year. With two days of horse racing plus music and entertainment following each meeting.

It is an awesome atmosphere and great community spirit for the weekend.  Trainers are looked after very well, with great facilities being provided.  The club recently joined in with the shire to have a 3 day exciting weekend commencing with Friday night fireworks at the town oval including stalls, art shows etc. Saturday morning there is a street parade and races commence Saturday afternoon. Sunday there is a Rodeo during the day and the Race Weekend Ball on Sunday night. Finishing of a great weekend there's Monday races and a party afterwards.

 

Membership Costs/Gate Entry

Two day pass: $15.00

Day pass: $8.00

This includes the race book and 2 eveings of music/entertainment. Two Up and/or Crown and Anchor.
