Mr Ross Gregory Bowe (Chairman) - First appointed 01.08.03

Retired.

Was a former Under Treasurer of Western Australia and is currently Chairman of Gold Corporation. Has had extensive high level experience in financial administration particularly in the State Government sector. Was a previous Chairman of the WA Treasury Corporation, Bankwest Holdings, Metropolitan Cemeteries Board and has held board appointments on the SGIC, the WA Coastal Shipping Commission and the West Coast Eagles. Chairman TAB (2003-04).

 

Mr Ross Alan Cooper - First appointed 01.08.03

Retired.

Was a Form Analyst with the Western Australian Trotting Association providing analytical assessment of race performance and assisting in maintaining confidence and integrity in the conduct of racing. Was a licensed bookmaker at thoroughbred, harness and greyhound race meetings in WA (1976-2001). Is a life member of the WA Bookmakers’ Association. Was a delegate to both the WA Thoroughbred Racing Industry Council and Harness Racing Industry Council. Was a member of the Betting Control Board (1994-98) and TAB Board Member (2001-04).

 

Dr Lianne Cretney-Barnes - First appointed 01.02.11

Executive Director.

Student Services, Marketing and Development at Murdoch University. Has a Doctor of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Marketing Institute and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also holds board positions with Chemcentre (WA) and Access Housing (WA). Formerly CEO of Aragon Education & Training, Director of Marketing & Development at Edith Cowan University, Marketing and Information Systems Manager for the Australian Institute of Management. Has also worked in the retail and finance industries.

 

Mr James Malcolm Freemantle (Deputy Chairman) – First appointed 01.08.03

Company Director and formerly CEO of Home Building Society.

Holds the degrees of B.Econ. and M.Admin and is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Aust and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Chair of a number of public/private partnerships, Board Member of various Government agencies, private companies and not for profit organisations. TAB Board Member (2003-04).

 

Mr Gary Gliddon – First appointed 21.11.11

Managing Director of Braxford Consultancy and specialises in providing Corporate Governance, Probity and Audit related services.

Prior to establishing his Nedlands-based practice, he was a Director with Deloitte in Perth delivering enterprise risk services to both private and public sector clients. Gary is a part owner of two litters of greyhounds.

 

Mr Robert Charles Pearson - First appointed 01.08.03

Chairperson and Managing Director Statewide Oil Distributors since 1985.

Extensive involvement in the Oil Industry particularly for logistical and marketing of lubricants throughout WA. Principal Director on the Australian Racing Board since 2003 and Chairman (2007-2009). Former Director on the board of Racing Information Services Australia. Currently a Vice Patron of East Perth Football Club. Previous President East Perth Football Club (1990-1992), Committee WATC (1992-1994), Betting Control Board member (1993-1994), board member WA Swimming Association (2000-2002). TAB Board Member (2003-04). Owner/part owner of a number of thoroughbred horses in WA and Eastern States.

 

Mr Michael James Ryan - First appointed 01.08.03

Retired.

Has held senior management positions in the I.T. and Communications industry, most significantly with IBM and Optus. Has held board positions on the Starlight Foundation, His Majesty’s Theatre Trust and TAB prior to the formation of RWWA. Is currently on a number of charity boards in Mandurah. TAB Board Member (2001-04).

 

Mr John Leslie Bradshaw Ph Ch. JP –First appointed 01.02.11

Retired.

Former Liberal Member for Murray-Wellington (February 1983 to 26 February 2005) with Ministerial Appointments as Parliamentary Secretary of the Cabinet 16 February 1993 – 9 January 1997, Parliamentary Secretary assisting the Minister for Mines, Tourism and Sport and Recreation 9 January 1997 - 15 February 2001. Before entering Parliament owned and operated pharmacies in Harvey and Waroona. Life Memberships of Apex, St John Ambulance Assoc Harvey, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. Previous President Southern Pharmacists’ Assoc.
