The Thoroughbred Breeders WA have pleasure in announcing the appointment of our new Executive Officer; Mr Darren McAullay.
Darren brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the role, much of which has been obtained from being one of Australia’s leading race callers, Bloodstock Auctioneers and also as the Executive officer of the WA Racehorse Owners Association, a position that he will retain.
Our Association sees this as a critical appointment and very much aligned with our objective of working in conjunction with other industry bodies and associations for the long term sustainability and growth of the racing industry in WA.
Darren’s skill set and undoubted talents are seen as perfectly suited to both the medium and long term objectives of the association, which include;
- The promotion of the WA thoroughbred both locally, interstate and overseas.
- Being a Representative body and lobby group for WA breeders in dealings with other industry bodies, associations and government dept’s.
-  To communicate national and international industry developments and objectives to WA Breeders in order to assist in the development of our industry.
- To assist WA Breeders in the education and development of their staff.
- The development of membership services.
We welcome Darren on board and look forward to his input and energy in bringing many of the association’s objectives to fruition.
