RWWA Stewards have been advised by the Chemistry Centre in Perth that the post race urine sample taken from REASSESS after it had competed and won Race 8 the Profiteer Handicap (1200m) at Belmont Park on Wednesday, 9 July 2008 contained testosterone at a level in excess of 55micrograms per litre and ketoprofen detected in it.

This finding has been confirmed by the Racing Science Centre in Queensland.

An inquiry will be held on Friday, 29 August 2008 at 10.30am at RWWA Stewards Room Ascot Racecourse.

The Trainer of REASSESS Mr Gavin Slater and Managing Owner Mr Peter Slater have been requested to attend the inquiry.
