RWWA Stewards today inquired into the stabling of the four year old gelding GOLDEN NEDIYM trained by Mr Peter Fernie in Kalgoorlie and entered to run in Race 5 the Sita Environmental Solutions Hcp (1300metres) on Saturday 13th September 2008.
Evidence revealed that following a stable inspection by RWWA Stewards on Friday morning 12 September 2008, GOLDEN NEDIYM was not stabled at the premises in accordance with the official stable return.
Trainer Mr P. Fernie pleaded guilty to a charge under ARR54(4) for failing to lodge an amended stable return for GOLDEN NEDIYM advising the Stewards of a change of stable address.
Mr P. Fernie was fined the sum of $300.
Acting under the provisions of ARR54(4) the nomination for GOLDEN NEDIYM was rejected.
