A Brief History of The Club

The Williams Trotting Club (Inc) was formed in the season of 1944-45. The original building, the Scout's hall on the Albany Highway (where the Lions Park is today) was used for Stewards, tote, change rooms, tea rooms and all official business. Williams draws a strong local crowd and the clubs race meetings have become a prominent feature on the Williams social calendar.
