The first race meeting was held in 1886 and was organised for the entertainment of the station people who provided the horses. The original course was on the marshland a few kilometres from the current site.
Wyndham Racecourse is now on Great Northern Highway between the main town and community club. The turf club provides a week of entertainment in August each year bringing valuable dollars to WA's most northerly town.
$25 - Entry Fee plus invite to the Members only
$10 - Gate Entry for each meeting, including a Racebook
