A number of runners at the bottom will be sweating on getting a start in the race. Chris Parnham has elected to ride Kissonallforcheeks, following her win in yesterday’s Group 3 R.J. Peters Stakes. That has thrown open a number of key rides in the race including Kaptain Kaos and The Velvet King. The final field will be unveiled on Monday.

Treasured Star is the key addition to the WA Guineas, having bypassed yesterday’s WA Champion Fillies Stakes. It’sarayday looks the leading contender from the colts and geldings. Buzzoom could back-up after her second placing in the Champion Fillies, while Searchin’ Rocs is expected to go to the Kingston Town Classic.
